Cala Ochs, MSW, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)

Cala earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She has worked in multiple school districts and home-based settings with children, adolescents, and families. Cala has experience working with a variety of clients, specializing in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-harm, trauma, executive functioning skills, relational issues, and personal growth.

Cala utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based, and family systemic approach when working with her clients. In session, she utilizes techniques from Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has completed post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Cala believes her clients are the experts in their lives but aims to provide support, guidance, and additional tools. Furthermore, she provides a collaborative, empathetic, and safe space for her clients to process their thoughts and emotions and work towards psychological flexibility and healing.

In addition to offering traditionally formatted (i.e., weekly and biweekly) counseling sessions, Cala also offers 1-Day and 2-Day EFT Intensives for couples. Also, she offers EMDR Mini-Intensives in either a three hour or six-hour format.

Morgan Smith, MA, LMFTA (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate)

Morgan graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Morgan has worked in home-based therapy programs, private practice, and a mental health clinic on a college campus. Morgan has experience working with children, couples, families, and adults. Her areas of experience include those struggling with depression, self-harm, anxiety, relational issues, life transitions, and trauma. In addition to the aforesaid, she is passionate about helping couples work through various issues and improve their relationships through Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Morgan has completed post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).Additionally, she is comfortable integrating the client's personal faith into sessions at the request of the client.  Morgan typically works with adolescents and adults.

In addition to traditionally formatted counseling sessions, Morgan also offers 1-Day and 2-Day EFT Intensives for couples. She is also a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator.

Amy Mitchell, PhD, HSPP (Licensed Psychologist)

Dr. Mitchell is a graduate of Ball State University's counseling psychology program, where she completed her dissertation on the effectiveness of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Her graduate training focused on attachment based and systemic interventions with couples and families. She has a range of clinical experience, including wrap-around and residential services for children, psychological assessments for DCS, forensic assessments, adult inpatient and residential care, and community mental health and integrated care outpatient services. 

Dr. Mitchell has completed advanced trainings in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She implements a range of attachment-based interventions for all ages and integrates techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS). She emphasizes integration and healing of the four aspects of being human - mind, emotions, body, and spirit, and the essential impact of healthy connection within the self, within close relationships, and within the community.

Jonathan M. Burg, MA, LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)

Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree in Bible and Religion from Anderson University. He completed his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Additionally, he has post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jonathan has worked in residential facilities for at-risk youth, schools, prisons, churches and private practices. Utilizing a family systems approach and predominately EFT, he primarily works in the areas of fostering family cohesion and communication, sexual integrity issues, recovering from childhood trauma, healing from marital affairs, and increasing marital satisfaction.

Jonathan is no longer able to offer traditionally formatted (i.e., weekly and biweekly) counseling sessions. He is currently scheduling for 1-Day and 2-Day EFT Intensives for couples. He also offers EMDR Mini-Intensives in either a three hour or six-hour format.

Lauren Salazar, MA, LMFTA, LAC (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate; Licensed Addiction Counselor)

Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Addiction Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, she obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has clinical experience working in predominately residential and outpatient settings. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families pursuing recovery from alcohol and/or other substance abuse.

Lauren’s focus and clinical interests center around the following: improving marital satisfaction and connection; depression; anxiety; increasing self-esteem and self-worth; trauma; increasing family cohesion. She is a certified PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) instructor, previously facilitating marital retreats for veteran couples looking to strengthen connection and communication within their relationships. Lauren utilizes an attachment-based and family systemic approach when working with clients. She has post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Lauren believes in working together with her clients in the healing process, offering a collaborative, empathetic, and strengths-based approach. She is welcome to integrating one’s faith into sessions as requested.

Allison earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Anderson University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College. She has experience working with adults in areas of depression, anxiety, anger, and marital reconciliation. Allison currently is an officer in the military and has experience working with veterans and their families.
