Morgan Smith, MA, LMFTA (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate)
Morgan graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. Morgan has worked in home-based therapy programs, private practice, and a mental health clinic on a college campus. Morgan has experience working with children, couples, families, and adults. Her areas of experience include those struggling with depression, self-harm, anxiety, relational issues, life transitions, and trauma. In addition to the aforesaid, she is passionate about helping couples work through various issues and improve their relationships through Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Morgan has post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Additionally, she is comfortable integrating the clients personal faith into sessions at the request of the client. Morgan typically works with adolescents and adults.
In addition to traditionally formatted counseling sessions, Morgan also offers 1-Day and 2-Day EFT Intensives for couples. S he is also a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator.
Lauren Salazar, MA, LMFTA, LAC (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate; Licensed Addiction Counselor)
Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Addiction Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, she obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has clinical experience working in predominately residential and outpatient settings. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families pursuing recovery from alcohol and/or other substance abuse.
Lauren’s focus and clinical interests center around the following: improving marital satisfaction and connection; depression; anxiety; increasing self-esteem and self-worth; trauma; increasing family cohesion. She is a certified PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) instructor, previously facilitating marital retreats for veteran couples looking to strengthen connection and communication within their relationships. Lauren utilizes an attachment-based and family systemic approach when working with clients. She has post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Lauren believes in working together with her clients in the healing process; offering a collaborative, empathetic, and strengths-based approach. She is welcome to integrating one’s faith into sessions as requested.

Cala earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She has worked in multiple school districts and home-based settings with children, adolescents, and families. Cala has experience working with a variety of clients, specializing in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-harm, trauma, executive functioning skills, relational issues, and personal growth.
Cala utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based, and family systemic approach when working with her clients. In session, she utilizes techniques from Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). In addition, she is completing post-graduate training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Cala believes her clients are the experts in their lives but aims to provide support, guidance, and additional tools. Furthermore, she provides a collaborative, empathetic, and safe space for her clients to process their thoughts and emotions and work towards psychological flexibility and healing.
