Mosaic Counseling Services
Creating meaning, beauty, and wholeness through the broken pieces of life.
Our Approach and Philosophy
At Mosaic, we understand that one’s relationships, trauma, and past, often influence their ability to thrive in their current environment. With respect, compassion, and evidence-based therapeutic practices (EMDR, EFT, IFS, etc.), we will help you find healing and meaning from the fragmented and broken pieces in your life. We look forward in joining with you as you experience authenticity, growth, and connection with yourself and others.
We value adopting a wellness rather than illness model, we see people as “stuck” rather than “sick.” Choosing to see the work we do in the aforementioned manner is a stance against stigma that prevents people from seeking out therapy and against the diagnosing and pathologizing of people suffering that can be more harmful than helpful.
The work we do embraces the power of connection, the science of attachment, a trauma-informed sensitivity, and the importance of being fully engaged in experiences. Our hope is that our work together will empower you to deepen compassion and courage towards yourself, towards healing from past wounds, and towards enriching lifegiving relationships around you as you dive into the life you desire.
